Chef José Andrés
FOUNDER, WOLD CENTRAL KITCHEN
As part of Chef José Andrés’ team, we spearheaded the launch of communications and PR initiatives for World Central Kitchen. We organized the first Dine & Dash event in Washington, D.C.—a unique fundraiser where attendees enjoyed a gourmet meal while supporting the nonprofit’s disaster relief efforts. The event’s innovative approach and overwhelming success established it as an annual tradition, consistently raising funds and awareness for World Central Kitchen’s mission. Through our efforts, we helped solidify the nonprofit’s commitment to using food to inspire change and provide relief worldwide, shaping its globally recognized narrative.

MITA
MITA 2024 MICHELINE STAR RESTAURANT
We are proud to have been the driving public relations force behind the remarkable success of MITA. From launching their initial pop-ups at Union Market’s La Cosecha, we strategically amplified their unique vegetable-centric cuisine, establishing a strong local presence. When they secured their own space in December 2023, we developed tailored partnership strategies that garnered recognition from The New York Times and The Washington Post, positioning them as one of DC’s best restaurants. Our efforts were instrumental in Vegetable Forward MITA earning their first Michelin star within a year, making Chef Miguel the youngest Venezuelan chef to receive this honor and Chef Tatiana Mora the first Venezuelan female chef to achieve such recognition. Additionally, the restaurant was named a James Beard Foundation semi-finalist for Best New Restaurant and was included in Washingtonian Magazine’s 100 Best Restaurants in 2025. Our dedicated collaboration exemplifies how strategic public relations can elevate a culinary vision to national acclaim.
SERENATA
RAISING THE GLASS:
SERENATA’S AWARD-WINNING RISE
MV COLLECTIVE’S strategic efforts led to Serenata being named one of America’s Best Bars by Esquire Magazine in 2021 and earning the Cocktail Program of the Year Award from the Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington in 2022. We elevated Serenata’s profile not only through innovative cocktails and valuable partnerships but also by deeply engaging with the community and supporting important social causes. During the pandemic, Serenata became a vital hub for industry partners, allowing them to continue operating from our space while we collectively raised funds for various social initiatives. Additionally, our collaboration highlighted the exceptional talent of AJ Johnson, Serenata’s Bar Manager, who was honored as a James Beard Foundation semifinalist for Cocktail Professional of the Year. Through these efforts, MV Collective successfully transformed Serenata into a celebrated and resilient cornerstone of the DC bar community.

CRIMSON LANE VINEYARDS
POURING SUCCESS:
CRIMSON LANE’S GRAND ENTRANCE
MV COLLECTIVE led the successful launch of Crimson Lane Vineyards in Northern Virginia with a strategic PR campaign tailored to the region’s esteemed wine culture. Before its debut, we engaged top wine connoisseurs, influencers, and media through exclusive previews and behind-the-scenes tours, fostering enthusiasm and a strong network of advocates. Our approach included social media partnerships and securing a glowing review from the International Wine Review Board, elevating Crimson Lane’s reputation before opening.
As a result, the winery gained extensive media coverage, high-profile collaborations, and significant impressions within the first three months. The grand opening drew exceptional attendance, cementing Crimson Lane as a premier winery in Northern Virginia. Our efforts ensured a successful launch and positioned the brand for long-term growth, showcasing MV Collective’s expertise in elevating brands in competitive markets.

GLOBAL COUTURE
GLOBAL COUTURE US:
WHERE CULTURE MEETS HIGH FASHION
MV COLLECTIVE proudly led the public relations success of Global Couture US (GCUS), a dynamic platform connecting top European brands with innovative Latin American and Caribbean designers. More than a fashion show, GCUS is a cultural celebration, blending haute couture with dance, art, and music. Our strategic PR campaign secured national media coverage, including major TV outlets, elevating GCUS’s visibility.
A key highlight was promoting founder Raisa Gonzalez, whose documentary with Kenia Basilis of Telemundo 44’s Tu Guia earned a Capital Emmy, reinforcing GCUS’s dedication to Indigenous designers. Our efforts positioned GCUS as a premier cultural event in Washington D.C., paving the way for its second edition in November 2024 at the Organization of American States. With designers from Spain, Ecuador, Honduras, Panama, Mexico, Colombia, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic, plus special guests and Vogue Latinoamérica, GCUS remains a beacon of artistic excellence.
